For my father's birthday I decided to map out his tennis career and make a poster of it. First I gathered some pictures and all the dates and locations by interviewing both him and his parents. With this information at hand, I opened my favourite page on the interwebs (you might have heard of Google Maps) to take screenshots of all courts and buildings in which he has played tennis throughout his life.

After drawing a map of Northern Europe, I merged it with a vibrant picture of an 18-year-old Patrik and added said courts. Lastly I framed this with a chronological list of the names of all courts he has played on, including the club he plays for to-date.

However, I was still left with this adorable photograph of him when he was just four years old, standing on a tennis court in Umeå. Additionally I had some less cute but very recent pictures from when he was playing tennis with me and my brother during our Christmas visit. To further emphasize the time span of his activity I decided to make two additional, slightly simplified versions.
